CURRENT PROJECTS
The full-length play entitled A Mother's Son, written by Ralph Gordon,
Anne McKee, and Richelle Putnam to be produced at the Roxie Theatre,
Newton, MS on November 29th, December 1st and 2nd. The musical
score was written by Ralph Gordon and Richelle Putnam. A strong
character based play about three mothers, three sons, a Civil War, the
determination that drives them and the hope that carries them through.
One-Act play entitled, Imprisoned. There's more than one way to be
locked away for life. A play about a mother, a daughter, and how denial
keeps them "imprisoned."
Three completed Young-Adult Novels entitled I Hate you, Mrs. Powell,
You Are My Sunshine, and Close Your Eyes to See Me. Hard issues are
approached in these novels, such as drug use, parental neglect, and
negative body image. Strong characters. No preachy overtones. Honesty,
though sometimes brutal, is real. Each story ends with either acceptance
or the willingness to change.
Poetry Chapbook Irreconcilable Differences is not just about couple
relationships suffering from irreconcilable differences, but other
relationships that suffer as well.
Collection of Short Stories entitled Family. Don't let the title fool you.
Families come in different sizes and beliefs, with different problems and
hardships.
My Brother Kevin, a picture book for children that helps them deal with a
sibling suffering from a debilitating disease, such as cancer and allows
them the freedom to ask those hard questions.
Many songs, including the ones of this website and the soundtrack to A
